“Mini-Mundy” 29 weeks (77 days to go…)

Thought I would start including my “Mini-Mundy” updates on my blog along with my  facebook so I can write a little more and include larger pics (the 420 character max on the facebook status updates is not cutting it anymore).

Today marks the 29th week!  Only 77 days to go!!!!  I am not going to go by the online size chart anymore because we have been told by the doctors that he is measuring about 2 weeks  larger than his due date…..so he is just BIG.  Last week he was 3lbs 8 oz.  The good news is that I am only averaging 2 lbs. weight gain per month…yay!

It did not hit Ken and I how close 77 days was until we went to register at Babies ‘R Us on Sunday.  We quickly learned we have a ton of preparing before the next 77 days or so.  They gave us a list that is about 4 pages long of “suggested items” some of the items we were completely clueless about.

We had a busy holiday weekend.  We picked up our B-O-B stroller (thanks to my Mom) had a 4D ultrasound (at the San Diego Ultrasound Experience) where we saw Mini-Mundy’s face for the 1st time – see the pics below…I tried to upload the video but I cannot get the size down to a posting size (thanks to my Sister Jackie and Chuck) and we registered.  I am starting to slow down a ton.  The littlest outing or walk just drains every ounce of energy from me.  So this was a BUSY weekend!

Our doctor gave us a “homework assignment” at our appointment last Thursday.  I am to keep a kick counting log 3-times a day (I found an iPhone app for this).  This is not at all time consuming for this baby.  If I count the kicks right after I eat it takes at the most 10-12 minutes to get 10 kicks logged.  He is a moving machine!  He is getting bigger and bigger and his kicks and punches sometimes surprise me and even hurt at times.  Morning sickness is still a battle for me – the good news is that it is not every day.
