We spent the morning at La Jolla’s Windansea Beach with the Zeller kids who are on vacation in San Diego from Arizona. We had a blast chasing sea gulls, running from the waves and digging in the sand.
San Diego had an A-W-E-S-O-M-E Spring this year. The wild flowers were out in full bloom! Pete and Cassandra were married 6 months to the day of this photo shoot and what better way to celebrate than to trash the dress. We started out our journey in Temecula and took the back roads all the way to Julian (we stopped and picked up a apple pie of course) and then looped back home to San Diego (thanks to Dave Donovan for driving the big ole truck). What an AMAZING day of skateboarding, walking through a flower field that went on forever (I had a major allergic reaction to all the flowers) and then finding a seasonal lake in the backwoods of Ramona.

Who says you have to “trash the dress” to get amazing photos at the beach? This shoot took place just prior to a San Diego storm. The only damage to the dress was a dry cleaning bill to clean the green moss and salt water off it.

Connor and Ace are cousins that were born 3 days apart! I first photographed Ace and his family when he was 6 days old. Then Connor and his Mom flew in from Az. to visit and have the babies photographed together when they were 3 wks old. They are soooooooo cute! I can not wait to photograph them together this summer and watch them grow!

3-week old Baby Ella and Mom traveled all the way down to San Diego from Seattle to visit with family and friends. While visiting we were able to sneak in a quick mini-session. Baby Ella is sooooo adorable and such a good baby!
